Procurement is one of the key functions in the business operations of any organization. All organizations are prone to the risk of fraud and corruption in their procurement process. The rise in contract management and the outsourcing of goods and services has always presented opportunities for procurement fraud. Appropriate detective and preventive controls and proper tendering processes are necessary for the fight against this form of fraud.
